Makeo network lab
This plays about two minutes of simulated Makeo matches against our test server in Singapore, the way a real game's traffic flows: your inputs go up, a room ticks 30 times a second, and sealed views come back. It compares today's WebSocket, a WebSocket that only sends fresh views, and UDP (WebTransport); adds the hop to the secret keeper for paid matches; and pings a real Blockfront room. Keep this tab in front while it runs.
WebSocket (today)
WebSocket, fresh views only
UDP (WebTransport)
Real Blockfront room ping
Dashed lines: 100 ms and 250 ms
What we found
Free match: the three ways, side by side
Paid match: what the secret keeper adds
"Action seen" is the whole trip: your input goes up, waits for the next tick, the keeper steps the world and seals your view (simulated hop, real AES-GCM), the view comes down and your browser opens it.
